About Andi Wijaya

I was born 21 years ago in Ujung Pandang, now better known as Makassar. Currently in the final stage to complete the Bachelor of Informatics Engineering at Hasanuddin University. Lucky me, my majors and interests are the same.

Interacting with computer since elementary school, my very first computer was Windows 98 computer and running on Intel Pentium !!! (pentium 3). My pleasure with computers continues with the hobby of graphic design (multimedia) and has led me to win many competitions while I was in school (junior-high school).

I like math logic subjects and had several opportunity to represent my school to compete in computer competitions, brought me to know the world of programming and decided to enter University as a software engineering student.

During college, I became acquainted with the development of Android applications and brought me to many important opportunities in my career to date. I learned a lot from the community, one of which was Developer Student Clubs (DSC) by Google Developers and became the leader of this community from 2019 to 2020. After DSC, I became the Co-Organizer Google Developer Groups (GDG) Makassar.

During my college years I received several scholarships, scholarship from Tanoto Foundation which covered my tuition fees during college, Scholarship from JASSO (Japan Student Service Organization) which gave me the opportunity to live and intern at NAIST and IPLab Japan as research intern, Beasiswa Iman Usman is a mentoring program from Iman Usman (Co-Founder of Ruangguru.com), and many other scholarships that have shaped me into the person I am today.

In addition to college, I have “jumped” into the professional world and earned income as a programmer since the fourth semester until now at Carakde.id. I am responsible for several products and mostly handle the mobile devs team.
